The SPCP 2012-16  focuses on projects that specifically enhance police cooperation between the countries in South Eastern Europa and that deepen knowledge and expertise among practitioners regarding modern methods of fighting organized crime.

As of today, the programme supports six projects including the implementation of the Police Cooperation Convention (PCC), the development of International Law Enforcement Coordination Units (ILECUs) and of the Southeast Europe Police Chiefs Association (SEPCA) partnering with the Austrian Criminal Intelligence Service, the support of the Container Control Programme partnering with UNODC and WTO, Joint Regional Patrols partnering with IOM and Criminal Intelligence Sharing partnering with the OSCE Kosovo and OCSE Serbia.
